Hislop no match for Joey

There were many great points articulated about the great Steve Hislop (MCN, July 25). However, Nick Jefferies got it wrong when comparing Steve Hislop with the likes of Joey and Michael Dunlop, not to mention the heroic Ian Hutchinson.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m a real road racing fan from Ireland who has respect and admiration for all riders, but I am totally baffled with what Nick Jeffries said. He needs to look at the facts before talking complete nonsense. Maybe if Hizzy was able to hang on to the coat-tails of Joey he would have won more than one Isle of Man TT.
