A lack of vision at Brands
Since MSV took over Brands Hatch and many other circuits, they have really raised the bar. But for BSB this year at the GP circuit, they erected lots of thick and obtrusive safety fencing, even on the insides of corners. Unbelievably, they have also totally cut off public access to the entry from Sheene's to Sterling’s. So much so that the whole public circuit experience is different, in a negative way. Yes you can stand close, but only with a heavy-gauge fence in the way. Sadly, this appears to be the result of the circuit wanting to host touring cars, which have a more stringent fence requirement and nothing to do with bike racing. I will seriously consider my next three-hour journey to Brands.
