Secret tricks of the trade
We’re lucky in the bike industry; the majority of salespeople are trustworthy and, as bikers themselves, keen to make sure you get a good deal. But there are one or two rogues out there (and I should know) who are not averse to pulling a few tricks to push you into a sale. Here’s a few you should watch out for.
Sucking back
This is when a salesman offers you a very low part-exchange for your bike, inviting you to haggle up the value before offering you a
