Taz on track to be best rookie

Tarran Mackenzie continued to shine at Thruxton at the weekend despite engine issues during qualifying making things difficult for the 22-year-old. Starting dead last in race one, he fought his way through the field to claim an impressive ninth-place finish but a stronger run in the second event saw him finish just behind the podium battle in fifth. He is now the bestplaced rookie of the 2018 season.
