Jake Dixon’s gives his lowdown on BSB’s Cadwell Park spectacle

Perhaps one of the most striking circuits on the Bennetts British Superbike calendar, Cadwell Park provides a unique challenge for riders and a spectacle for race fans like no other.

BSB’s pilgrimage to the Lincolnshire Wolds this weekend comes at a critical time with Jake Dixon and Josh Brookes desperate to bridge the gap to series leader Leon Haslam.

Fast and flowing in the first half and tight and twisty in the second, Cadwell is very much about compromise when it comes to bike set-up but it’s the width of the circuit that poses the biggest challenge. The 2.25-mile circuit is about half the width of the series’ widest track, Silverstone, making it very difficult for overtaking, so successful qualifying is imperative.
