Thruxton stinks

I have just returned from Thruxton BSB. We arrived on the Friday night on our two bikes with camping kit. We attend a number of meetings throughout the year and enjoy the racing and this year the weather, too. Sadly, Thruxton’s toilet facilities and showers were an absolute disgrace. We were in a field with a few thousand others on the Friday evening with no toilets at all.

The few showers that were available the following day in the next field were without water, along with the wash basins. Yes, the new conference centre is very smart, the music was good and the racing brill, but they really need to sort out their toilets and showers, if only from a health and safety point of view.
