Colin Rowland Whiteways Loop, 66 miles

At Emsworth take the B2148, turn right on Emsworth Common Road to Funtington, left at the farm shop, and left to Midhurst. In Singleton, turn right into Town Lane, and left after Goodwood. Turn left at the junction with the A286, right (A283), then the A29. On the Chichester ring road, take the B2718 back.

Dave Gordon Rye eye-opener, 45 miles

Leave Rye on the A259, turn left and hug the coast. At Ore pick up the B2093 and follow it to Baldslow. Turn left on the A2690 then the A259 at Bexhill. Take the B2204 north, A271 through Battle, then the B2029 to Cripps Corner. Take the B2089 back to Rye.
