I had cherry red DMs back in the 90s and these have a similar vibe. They look perfect on my Ducati Scrambler 800 where sports boots are out of place. They’ve broken in nicely, too. Protection is a compromise on boots like these: there’s hard armour at the toe/heel with soft protection at the ankle. Sports boots offer more safety but these are better than casual boots and a thousand times better than trainers. They fasten with laces and a zip at the side, it’s a system that works well.
