“Following a trackday at Cadwell Park I’m now experimenting with different materials for hero blobs. Trackdays aren’t all about going fast, they’re about learning how far you can safely push your bike and with the GT you use its hero blobs as angle guides; even on the road. Ground clearance can be an issue on the K1600GT as after the blob you start to touch down fog lights and then the centre stand. I want a hardwearing material that will last a whole touring holiday.”
