Fabrice Miguet loses fight for life

French racer Fabrice Miguet has died after a crash in the Superstock race at Saturday’s Ulster Grand Prix. The 49-year-old was involved in an incident at Joey’s Windmill and was on life support in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital, before an official statement was released on Monday that confirmed the tragic news. Miguet competed regularly at the North West 200, TT and Ulster and made his TT debut in 1999 aboard a Voxan that he had ridden to the event before racing.
