“I rode my Ducati Multistrada to Bologna last year to go on a factory tour and visit the museum, it was my first proper European trip and a brilliant experience. The factory tour was excellent, however spending a few hours in the museum was certainly the highlight. The museum is fantastic and the photos you can see on the internet don’t do it justice. It’s a wonderfully designed building, really well set out and obviously has had a huge amount of time and money invested in it. They have a great collection of bikes ranging from historic road bike to machines that I remember cheering on from the grandstands of race tracks such as Foggy’s 916, Hodgson’s 999 and Stoner’s MotoGP bike. And you can stand right next to them, which is really unusual in a museum. I loved going to the museum and I’m planning to ride my Speed Triple to Hinckley to do the Triumph Visitor Experience next summer, which I hope is as good. I’d recommend the Ducati Museum to anyone and it is really easy to combine with a holiday.”
