New British electric bike
It might look like a stripped-back 1950s V-twin bobber, but the new Veitis, unveiled at Motorcycle Live last week, is actually an all-new British-built electric bike, designed with impressively authentic retro styling. Gearless and clutchless, it tips the scales at 165kg, has a seat height of 720mm, can be ridden on an A1 licence (it’s 11kW), will do 70mph, trundle 100 miles on a charge, and takes 3h45min to fully re-juice.
