Big miles, big smiles

I agree with Jez Briggs (MCN Letters, November 7). Nothing beats biking and I am doing my absolute best to get to 5000 miles before the end of the year. I’m currently struggling at 4200, using the bike in all weathers, carrying four computers in a backpack and had the first serious fog this morning (I still got home smiling inside my helmet).
