Poke and spray 3

Once you’re happy the new grips will fit both sides, remove the originals. Take a long, thin screwdriver and gently poke it under the edge while spraying a contact cleaner into the gap. Move the screwdriver around and keep spraying the cleaner. It will dissolve any glue and lubricate the inside of the grip and help it pull off easily. Repeat on the other side.
