2 Electronics potential

-

Despite just three days of testing, the Moto2 teams are quickly getting to grips with the newly-introduced Magneti Marelli control electronics. Although early days and lacking features like traction control which were promised when it was first announced the class would bring in rider aids, initial signs are promising.

Using a set of pre-programmed variables that can be easily adjusted by teams to ensure that there’s no need for an expensive team of data engineers, the general feedback to engine braking controls and the fly-bywire throttle has been initially positive.
