Keis G501 heated gloves £189

Tested by Emma Franklin, two months Gone are the days of heated gloves being little more than oven mitts, the G501 look and feel more like three-season leather sports gloves, packing hard carbon knuckle protection, wrist strap and reinforced palms. As such, they’re CE approved as Personal Protective Equipment. On an early morning 5-degree blast up north, the G501s performed like no other heated gloves I’ve ever worn. The heating elements run down each finger and the backs of the hands which, set on their medium setting, managed to keep me at the perfect temperature. However, it was their overall lack of bulk that I found most impressive. The Hipora waterproof membrane has so far kept me dry in a heavy downpour, and the three-stage heat-control button on the back of the hand is very easy to operate.
