After years of teasing, Yamaha have finally released their new Ténéré 700 as an accessible but capable mid-range adventure bike. It’s based on the hugely-popular MT-07 parallel twin which came out in 2014 and has sold well ever since. But if you want to explore more than a bumpy side road, in the style of its Ténéré forebears stretching back 35 years, there are plenty of other bargain bikes to choose from.
