Stan's the man to keep us tuned
Andy Williams, Cumbria Brilliant article in MCN about the legendary Stan Stephens (MCN, November
21). The article made me all misty-eyed and rolled the clock back to those classic two-stroke days. I say 'legend' as that word is often banded around too much but the likes of Stan, Leon Moss of Ledar and John Robinson (ex-PB technical guru) truly were legends (there are plenty more to list) of motorcycle knowledge and mechanics. Without them I’d never have become interested in and hooked on motorbikes in the first place. Stan et al, I doff my cap!
