Boiling up

Cosy Gore-Tex riding kit is perfect for a day like this, but today we’re off the Zero, waiting for it to charge, more than on it. Walking around dressed like the Michelin Man and constricted like Houdini by thermal layers, I’m getting hot and grumpy. We clog up half of every café we visit after removing jackets, gloves, helmets, jumpers and rucksacks.
