FACTFILE East End Escape , 52 miles

From Chipping Ongar take the B184 to the A1060. Turn right to Leaden Roding, left back on the B184 to Great Dunmow then first exit onto the B1008, second onto Braintree Road then left, to Church End. Go right on the B1057 to Finchingfield then the B1053 to Great Bamford. Take the B1051 around Stansted, B183 to the A1060 then it’s a quick left/right on the B184 to Chipping Ongar.
