Buying used? Go Harley
I’ve just bought a great used bike. It came with no camchain worries to trouble me because it has a pushrod OHV engine with maintenancefree hydraulic tappets. Nor does it have any fancy gadgets to either distract me while riding or go wrong at some point. Moreover, it has belt drive so there are no nasty oily chains or worn sprockets to maintain and replace. Sure, it isn’t fast and neither is it nimble or perhaps to everyone’s taste, but it sounds great, can be maintained at home and delivers good mpg too. Yep, my Harley Sportster has proved to be a great used buy.
