That stroker itch

Reading your article on two-stroke tuner Stan Stephens (MCN, November 21) reminded me of my experience of a Stephens-tuned RD400. In a word, awesome. Front wheel in the air on most overtakes, wheelspin on damp roads and a licence loser. I sold mine after accruing nine points in little over a year, in the days before speed cameras that was no mean feat! Wish I had it now though as no bike since can scratch that stroker itch.
