With the Peak District on his doorstep, Peter Thompson, regularly takes his Yamaha Fazer for a quick spin and he doesn’t have to travel far to find himself enjoying some fantastic roads through glorious countryside. “I love to head out to the country and like to ride to the Peak District when time permits,” says Peter. “I often ride with friends but am just as happy on my own.
“This ride combines twisty roads with some great views and my regular stop is at the Castlewood Café on the A518. The stretch from Uttoxeter to Rugeley is a favourite and goes over the top of Blithfield Reservoir.”
