TWO-WHEELED RELIEF

As the national governing body for cycling in Britain, at British Cycling we have always known about the power of the humble bike, and have seen rst-hand just how important a role this particular mode of transport has played during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ere is no doubt that the cycling boom has been driven in part by an increase in temporary cycling infrastructure and the quieter roads we saw for much of 2020, but now that restrictions have begun to ease and roads are getting busier, we wouldn’t blame you if the thought of ramping up your training after such an unpredictable year didn’t ll you with con dence.

at’s where our Insight Zone comes in. Packed full of useful hints and tips on skills and techniques, nutrition and making the most of your cycling by incorporating some training into your commute, you’ll be more than race ready in time for the summer.

So, if you’re putting your legs to work on your commute, as part of a training block to do more than just get round when it’s time to pin numbers onto your jersey again, or are simply trying to look a little less caught o guard the next time you bump into the Great Britain Cycling Team on a training ride, take the step towards making your commute so much more than just rides to and from work.
