STAY BALANCED

-

Bars and shakes can be useful, but nothing beats a good diet. “Eating for recovery and ensuring quality food intake can help with reaching the correct micro-nutrient intake – in particular an intake of eight portions of fruit and vegetables per day,” says Eddie Fletcher. “Try, too, to eat oily sh at least twice a week, or take omega-3 supplements.” Oily sh is doubly bene cial, because it contains heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids (not to mention protein), which aid your body’s ability to control in ammation. Good fats also help with the absorption of vitamins A,K,D and E, all of which support recovery, boost energy and protect your immune system.
