Third challenge: avoid getting injured or losing interest in their exercise routine. The silly thing is, the more we exercise and progress our fitness in one style of training, the more likely we are to get bored of doing the same sorts of workouts. You can also find your body suffering injuries and niggles by focusing your training on a narrow field of fitness.

At later stages in training, as fitness and strength improve, a lot of people get bored of doing the same type of exercise, but don’t want to go through the awkwardnes­s of learning a new style of training, where – to start with, at least – they feel they will look stupid being the worst in the room practising a new skill.
