KNOCKOUT CURRY

Your body rebuilds itself at night. Interrupted sleep will put you right back to square one come the morning. Break the cycle by prepping your body for rest with Lambert’s protein-heavy feed. It’s engineered to provide the building blocks of growth, alongside a knockout nutrient in the poultry. “This turkey curry contains L-tryptophan, a precursor of melatonin, the hormone that regulates your sleep-wake cycles,” says Lambert. In other words, it’s what dreams are made of.

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2)

• TURKEY BREAST, 400G, DICED • BROWN RICE, 250G • RED ONION, SLICED • RED PEPPERS, 2, SLICED • BIRD’S EYE CHILLI, SLICED • PLUM TOMATOES, TIN, CHOPPED • GARLIC CLOVES, 2 • GINGER, 1IN, GRATED • CHILLI, 1TBSP • TURMERIC, 1TBSP • CUMIN, 1TBSP • CHICKEN STOCK, 300ML • LEMON JUICE, 1TBSP METHOD Stir-fry the turkey then toss in the onions and peppers. Chilli heat helps supercharge your metabolism, meaning you’re less likely to suffer sleepderailing bedtime bloating. Add that next, along with the tomatoes and garlic, cook for 3min, then bung in spices, stock and lemon juice. The tomatoes’ high folic acid content helps stimulate circulation to aid muscle growth. Simmer for 10min, then serve over brown rice. As well as carbs to help melatonin cross the bloodbrain barrier, the grains are also packed with magnesium, proven to support sleep.
