WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST HEALTH FEAR?

-

CHALLENGE Men worry most about heart attacks and with good reason: heart disease is the leading cause of death for UK men. At 37, your risk is low, but men aged 50-64 are three times more likely to die of heart disease than women of the same age. Persistent erectile dysfunction is often an early warning sign, so speak to your GP.

OPPORTUNITY You likely already have a handle on the things that you shouldn’t be doing if you’re worried about heart health. But here’s a list of things to introduce to your routine: beans and pulses; morning sunlight; weight training; weekend naps; fish dinners; good music (really); swimming and spending time with a dog.
