WASH… GENTLY

As with any other wound, you’ll want to keep it clean to prevent infection. So wash your hands before washing your tattoo. Then clean the tattoo and the area around it gently yet thoroughly. (Dr Zeichner recommends the Dove Beauty Bar.) Do this every morning and every night before applying an occlusive lotion (see next step.)
