Dr Grekin says to look out for itchiness, redness, pus, or raised skin – signs of an allergic reaction – for up to six months after. ‘The body may decide it doesn’t like it,’ he says. ‘The area will get raised and it may ooze.’ Dr Grekin says he sees fewer allergic reactions, because tattoo artists are using better inks.
