The Southampton Arms

The Southampton Arms has long been a favourite with walkers rolling off Hampstead Heath in search of victuals. It’s a traditional pub, in all the best senses: a cosy, narrow bar; a little garden for your vit D top-ups; and a wide selection of beers, all from local microbreweries. For hot food, there are pork buns with apple sauce. And that’s it – although pies, pickled eggs and sausage rolls are available at the bar. Proof that choice can be overrated if you do one thing very well. Possibly not for vegans, this time.
