Israeli outfit Arallu’s muscular black metal takes much of its cue from Rotting Christ, as frontman Butchered’s vocals faithfully mimics Sakis’s retch. They’re over-reliant on their Middle Eastern instrumentation for dynamics, but is still a forceful statement of intent.
