BLACK CELESTIAL ORBS

IRON BONEHEAD PENNSYLVANIAN BLACK METALLERS FIND CAUSE FOR HOPE

Starting life as Gnosis Of The Witch in 2013, Veiled chose to take on a more cosmic slant and changed their name to fit the new blackened paths they would be taking. Immediately more organic and meaningful, Black Celestial Orbs is a shimmering work that reaches to the heavens in its bright guitar-work and relentless energy. Luminous opens up the album with stunning guitar lines while vocals from Niðafjöll are harsh and full of emotion. Portal follows and is a shining example of just how powerful a voice can be when laced with passion and Omnipotent features riffs that cycle back and repeat in hypnotising waves, a tactic employed throughout and one that works magnificently. Black Celestial Orbs is a debut that is full of cosmic hope that reflects the darkness instead of giving in to the abyss.
