Gone Ballistic
Four classic Bullet For My Valentine cuts
The Poison
TRUSTKILL – 2005
The Poison deservedly turned Bullet into superstars. Hit The Floor, 4 Words (To Choke Upon), Tears Don’t Fall… every track here is a modern classic, and as the band proved when they played it live in its entirety last year, age hasn’t dimmed it a bean.
Scream Aim Fire
JIVE – 2008
Following The Poison was always going to be a hefty task, but by upping their thrash influences and beefing up the riffs, Bullet tackled it like pros. It will always sit in the shadow of its predecessor, but Scream… is worthy of your attention.
Fever
JIVE – 2010
More melodic, groovier and punchier than Scream Aim Fire, Fever is absolutely stacked with bangers. It isn’t discussed in the same lofty terms as The Poison, but Your Betrayal, The Last Fight and Alone are among the best in Bullet’s arsenal.
Venom
RCA – 2015
Following the donkey that was Temper Temper, Bullet finally released the album they should’ve released after Fever. From the glorious No Way Out to the hyper-thrash of Army Of Noise, Venom is the Bullet album that deserves way more celebration.
