-

How well do you tHink you’re going to gel witH siktH on tHe road?

ERIC BICKERSTAFFE (GUITAR): “Both bands are pretty eclectic with our sounds, so I feel like some of our interests are going to line up. They are a bit older than us, I feel like that would be the only boundary. But I don’t like thinking about boundaries; I just like going in and seeing if we vibe together.”

lots of fans saw you on your co-Headliner witH Holding absence tHis year. wHat will tHey get on tHis tour tHat tHey didn’t last time?

“Maybe new music? We may be doing new music fairly soon, it depends how the year pans out. Anyone who saw us then would get the same experience, but times 10! We always try to top what we did last time and make it a really cool, enveloping experience.”

loatHe Have built up a very intense, elaborate live sHow. How long did it take to perfect tHat?

“I think the ideas have been there since the inception of the band. It took, I think, a year for us to get everything that we have right now boxed in and perfected. But, again, it’s something that we’re always thinking about. It’s always gonna be changing.”

is it all sex, drugs and rock’n’roll for loatHe on tHe road?

“Absolutely not! Ha ha! We’re kind of boring to be honest. I’m not one to spend money like that, apart from on food. I have a really bad problem with food. It’s my vice.”

so wHat’s tHe cuisine like on tour?

“Any McDonald’s we see, we stop at. But we’re trying to get out of that. That’s one of the things that we’re all collectively saying: we should kick that habit!”

after tHe tour, wHat’s next? will you start work on a second album?

“I’m not sure if it will be an album or an EP. We’re not entirely sure, but new music is our main priority at the moment. We do have plans for a lot more tours that I can’t talk a lot about right now, but music is the main thing right now.”
