HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A GOLDEN GOD? “Well, I’m not sure how I’m meant to feel, to be honest. Obviously we won it with Sabbath, and it’s just a great honour. The fact that people still care about me is a wonderful thing, I owe everything to the fans. When I go onstage and say, ‘I love you’, I mean it, because they’ve given me this amazing life. YOUR RETIREMENT?

OZZY: “Sharon, get out and let me speak! Ha ha ha! Jesus! I just want to address this retirement thing – everyone thinks I’m retiring, but I’m not! What I’m doing is
I’m slowing down. I want to do this new album, I’ve got a studio in my house now, so we can work on that whenever I feel like I want to, and I will be doing some shows. But I’m not going to go out and do these long tours that last for six months, I’ll just do a show here and a show there. But, let me just be clear about this – I’m not going to retire! What else would I bloody do?
I’d go mad!” SO WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOUR NEW ALBUM? “Well, it’s going to be heavy, but if anyone has ever listened to my music before, they’ll know that I like to mix it up and do a heavy one and then a more upbeat one and then a slow one. It’s sad to me that people don’t spend enough time caring about the entire album anymore. I like to give people something more than just a few songs; I want to give them value for money.” AND YOU’RE WORKING WITH ZAKK WYLDE AGAIN… HOW IS THAT? “I’ve worked with some amazing guitar players in my career; I’ve been really lucky to have such fantastic musicians want to play with me. But Zakk is family to me. I know that I can call him wherever I am in the world and say, ‘I need you to come play.’ and he’ll drop everything and be there. When I had my quad bike accident a few years ago, he was the first person to call me and the first person at my side – that’s a true friend right there. I know I can always count on him, so it makes sense for him to be with me. I trust and love him unconditionally.”
“I HOW don’t WOULD know YOU man, LIKE I don’t TO know… BE REMEMBERED? just as someone music and that of heavy always metal gave everything the fans of I my had. There are some great people, some fantastic people, in heavy metal, and we don’t always get the respect and the love we deserve.
But I know that the metal community is full of wonderful people, and I owe them everything. If I’m remembered for being a representative of those people, then
