Famed for his roles as otis Driftwood in rob Zombie’s House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects (not to mention 3 From Hell – see page 39) and Chop Top in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Bill went Full metal when he teamed up with Phil Anselmo for an unlikely (and, in all honesty, pretty solid) new music project. having apparently wanted to work together for years, the pair finally released their debut EP in early 2017 on Phil’s own housecore records. released under the moniker of Phil & Bill, Songs Of Darkness And Despair was unveiled to solid reviews.

You know him as the blade-gloved, dreamhaunt­ing Freddy Krueger of the A Nightmare On Elm Street series, but did you know that robert Englund also once appeared on a heavy metal record made by a band inspired by… um… him? Swedish horror thrashers F.K.Ü. – AKA Freddy Krueger’s Ünderwear – managed to rope the actor into narrating on their 2009 album

Where Moshers Dare. Singer larry lethal says the experience was a hoot, gushing: “You can only imagine what an honour it is for us. he’s such a profession­al yet extremely funny, so the recording was a real blast.”
