IT FEELS LIKE THE UK HASN’T BEEN ABLE TO GET THE FULL KING 810 EXPERIENCE RECENTLY. IS THAT FRUSTRATING?

DAVID GUNN (VOCALS): “We’ve brought the ‘full King 810 experience’ over every time we’ve come. Anyone who matters, which is to say anyone in the audience, will concur with that. If you’re talking about live players, then of course. It takes a bit more than that to frustrate me.”

WILL WE BE GETTING A FULL BAND ON THIS TOUR?

“If you’re going to the show, yes. If you’re sitting online, then you won’t get anything and you shouldn’t be concerned. I think our definitions of ‘full band’ may vary. Let’s just put it simply and say yes.”

WHAT RITUALS/TRADITIONS DO YOU HAVE ON THE ROAD?

“I command you, Emperor Lucifer, by the great living God, his dear son and the Holy Ghost and by the power of the great Adonay, Elohim, Ariel and Jehova… to appear now or send me Astaroth. FAIR ENOUGH. HOW DO YOU KEEP YOURSELF OCCUPIED WHEN YOU’RE NOT ONSTAGE?

“Perfectly well. I think the better question is to ask how I keep myself occupied on the stage.”

WHERE ARE WE AT WITH NEW KING 810 MUSIC?

“It’s outlined well and the songs are there. It’s the best record we’ve done thus far, which is good because that means we’ll release it. An recent article said that due to our recent ‘loss of members’ we were employing help in the studio, and that assumption is wrong. As always, we are just fine putting the music together without the hangers-on. We keep to ourselves, so no one really understands how we work and they just fill in their ignorance with assumptions.”
