HOLY ROAR Post-hardcore veterans embrace the warming glow of trad doom Holy Roar are remaining tight-lipped as to who is in Burning Vow, but they’ve hinted at members of Employed To Serve, Pariso, Group Of Man and Harrowed. While very different from the kinetic post-hardcore the label is known for, you can still hear elements of the members’ other bands in the shimmering, intricate guitar textures, the bristling, confrontational energy and the monster detuned grooves on the chugging, grandiose centrepiece, Walls Around

Earth, steeped in Candlesmass-ive melancholy. While the doom and post-hardcore scenes are pretty saturated, BV have combined aspects of each into a refreshingly original sound.
