We talked at him for a while and he just looked at us, never saying a word back – and we were talking for a good five minutes. later, we ran into prince’s manager and told him our story. he nodded and just said, ‘I used to have these calls with him where I’d tell him about what was happening in his career, and he’d just hang up whenever he felt like it. he never responded.’ I guess he was like that with everyone!”
