It’s not like we need another band telling us the world is fucked, but Stevenage’s

Bad Breeding dig deeper than most to illustrate the continued decimation of capitalism’s backbone – i.e. the middle/working class. The soundtrack is one where noise rock, garage rock, skittish and angular mathcore and anarcho-punk collide into a devilishly infectious mélange. Guitarist Angus Stewart would just as soon slash eardrums with dissonant chords and offkilter punctuation (Brave New Church) as offer riffs to swing hips to (Repossession) while Christopher Dodd’s voice is essentially Iggy Pop hurling himself into a pile of Noam Chomsky books. Exiled is the quick-burn soundtrack to society’s slow-burn dismantling.
