With their legacy as True Norwegian Black Metal pioneers long established, unbreakable duo Fenriz and Nocturno Culto have nothing to prove and no fucks to give – sentiments you could feel in every iron-hard riff and crusty exhortation of Old Star. This was another love letter to classic heavy metal, in the vein of the blackened punk/trad-metal crossover style that have made their latter years a headbanger’s dream.
