Alive & Dead captures the Swedes celebrating their coming of age, having transformed from oldschool death metallers to deathrock gods, with only rasping vocals left as remnants of a now forsaken past. A tad rougher than their studio versions, these renditions highlight how full of goth rock hooks their songs really are. ■■■■■■■■■■
