Cruise gran stole £33k from disabled brother
A GRANDMOTHER stole £33,600 from her disabled brother, a court heard yesterday.
Elaine Marco, 72, had ‘a nice lifestyle’, jurors were told. She had ‘recently returned from Australia and had been to New York and on a number of cruises’.
Meanwhile, her 77-year-old brother Geoffrey Daley, who lives in sheltered accommodation, has been left in debt and penniless.
Marco, of Allerton, admitted theft and was given a 15-month suspended sentence. The judge at Liverpool crown court heard relatives would pay back the cash.
