Semenya moves up to extend career
CASTER SEMENYA will race in the 3,000metres at the Diamond League Prefontaine Classic in California at the end of next month.
It is a distance Semenya, 28, can compete at without having to lower her testosterone levels after losing her appeal against a controversial IAAF rule change at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Under the new regulations, the double 800m Olympic champion can only run in events from 400m to the mile by taking medication.
