Kazakh ruler’s grandson ‘attacked PC in London flat’
THE grandson of Kazakhstan’s president bit a police officer who tried to stop him killing himself, a court heard. Aisultan Nazarbayev is accused of leaving ‘a very serious bite’ on PC Ross Sambrook after he was found at a flat in Covent Garden on June 5. The 28-year-old, whose grandfather is president Nursultan Nazarbayev, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and criminal damage. He was remanded until his case returns next Thursday.
