German couples in court over ship sunbed battle

TWO German couples are locked in a legal battle after a brawl over reserving cruise ship sunbeds.

Two men, one 70 and the other in his 40s, got into a scuffle after the older man’s wife tried to lay out her towels. According to reports a handbag flew past her head and landed on one lounger. The other couple claimed their bag was already there.

‘The elderly man suffered an injury to his lower arm,’ said a court official in Saxony, Germany, where the man filed a £3,800 claim for compensation.
