EMILIA CLARKE has been spilling the beans about her battles with Game of Thrones bosses who urged her to get naked so she wouldn’t ‘disappoint’ the show’s fans.
The dragon queen, who was ‘fresh from drama school’ at the time, would run off to the loo to cry when told to get her kit off.
It took a sex scene with Jason Momoa, aka GoT warlord Khal Drogo, to finally make Emilia feel at ease.
‘I’m a lot more savvy [now] with what I’m comfortable with, and what I am okay with doing,’ said the Last Christmas star.
‘I’ve had fights on set before where I’m like, “No, the sheet stays up”, and they’re like, “You don’t wanna disappoint your Game of Thrones fans”. And I’m like, “F*** you”.’
Recalling her naivety in her breakout role as Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia, 33, explained: ‘I’ve never been on a film set like this before. I’d been on a film set twice before then, and I’m now on a set completely naked with all these t people, and I don’t know what’s expected e of me, and I don’t know what you y want and I don’t know what I want.’
Admitting she found the situation difficult, she added: ‘Regardless of there being nudity or not, I would have spent s that first season thinking I’m not worthy of requiring anything, I’m not worthy of needing anything at all… whatever I’m feeling is wrong,
‘I’m gonna cry in the bathroom and then t I’m gonna come back and we’re gonna g do the scene and it’s gonna be completely fine.’
She admitted that one of her biggest challenges was a romp with Aquaman star Jason, 40.
‘The scenes, when I got to do them with Jason, were wonderful, because he was like, “No, sweetie, this isn’t okay”. And I was like, “Ohhhh”.’
