Hunk James in jungle shower... but what about his tackle?
THE bikini-clad beauties whose lingering jungle showers have become a highlight of I’m A Celebrity were given a run for their money last night... by rugby hunk James Haskell.
Fans watched closely as he stripped off to reveal his muscly body in the shower, where he warbled a few tunes with football pundit Ian Wright, 56.
And 34-year-old James has already made an impression on campmate Roman Kemp, who cracked a joke about the ex-England player during the Just Desserts Bushtucker Trial.
Before entering the jungle Capital FM’s Roman bragged that he could eat ‘bums, willies, balls’. His famous dad Martin, of Spandau Ballet, tweeted: ‘Just voted for my boy to eat Kangaroo B******s. That’ll show him!!’
The voting result meant Roman, 26, had to tuck into Cocky Road Ice Cream, made from cow’s teat and bull’s penis. When presenter Ant McPartlin asked the DJ to guess which animal it came from he joked: ‘James Haskell?’
James himself referred to his hulking physique when he said of trying to sleep in a hammock: ‘Essentially I’m in a handkerchief hanging between two twigs.’ TV presenter Kate Garraway, 52, offered to swap the hammock for her bed, which prompted him to describe her as ‘one of the nicest people I’ve ever met’.
The gag reflex was tested to the max when Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts wolfed a pig’s uterus in the Just Desserts trial. She winced in disgust and exclaimed ‘it’s popped’ as she struggled to chew it.
However, Roman and Adele, 40, successfully kept it all down to win all ten meal stars.
Meanwhile, Nadine Coyle, 34, rubbished previous claims about her and Cheryl in Girls Aloud. When EastEnder Jacqueline Jossa, 27, said: ‘I’d heard you didn’t get on with Cheryl’, the singer replied: ‘Fake news.’
