TONIGHT’S TV CHOICE

- KEITH WATSON

Vienna Blood BBC2, 9pm

The case closes on this engagingly unflashy period cop drama, a solid piece of sleuthing starring Matthew Beard and Juergen Maurer, which cleverly mixes Dr Max Liebermann’s psychological insights with Inspector Oskar Rheinhardt’s more muscular approach.
